Requesting a Quotation

 

Once you have discussed your problem with a Support Engineer and you are satisfied he/she has the skills to assist, you then need to formally request a quotation from the engineer from within the chat feature.

1.   From within the chat dialogue box click on the ‘Request Quotation’ button (as shown in Figure 9).

2.   The Support Engineer is now able to make a formal quotation based on the discussion you have had about your specific problem including payment fee and method.

Please Note:

You will need to wait for the Support Engineer to send you a quotation. If you are logged into the ActiveX control at the time the quotation is sent to you by the engineer then you will receive the quotation via the ActiveX control. If you are not online then the quotation will be sent to your IntelliFix inbox and you will be able to retrieve the email by accessing ‘My Profile’ and selecting ‘Offline Messages’ (see ‘My Profile’ section for  more information on accessing your messages).
